Information
The Club has been at 109 Wick Road since it was purpose-built by the Brislington & St. Anne?s Unionist Club Company Limited. The land to build the Club was purchased by the Clayfield-Ireland family, local landowners at that time. In those days, there were only a few buildings in the road and it must have looked quite impressive standing there alone. The Club was built with a Skittle Alley and Snooker Room which still remain. Originally, a Rifle Range existed, but this was removed many years ago.In recent years, the Club has been fully air-conditioned and in 2008, the bar was moved and a new stage installed for entertainment. Due to the smoking ban, there is also a covered area in the garden for smokers.Entertainment is usually provided on Saturday evenings every two weeks and there is a regular Bingo session on Wednesday evenings. ?Eyes Down? at 8:30pmEntertainment details are posted at the Club.
